Mazatlan and Mexico’s west coast is a top spot for sun worshipers and travelers seeking a relaxing vacation by the beach. If you are there for the beach as well, then Park Inn by Radisson Mazatlan is perfectly located right on the water front with direct access to the ocean and also two pools available to guests. Hard to imagine, but if you grow tired of the beach and want to explore the area around the hotel, here are our tips for what to do in the surrounding area!
Marina Mazatlan Golf Course
Golfing fan? Located directly behind the hotel is the Marina Mazatlan Golf Course. Guests can enjoy this 72 par, 18-hole course designed by renowned PGA pro and course designer David Fleming. Don’t miss the ‘snack shack’ for some delicious Mexican food. Go ahead and start planning your game. You can check tee times here.
Mazatlan Marina, located just next to the hotel, is a beautiful place to enjoy the maritime culture of the city. And if you have sailed in by boat to Mazatlan, you’ve docked in one of the most secure and well-equipped ports in the area. Complete with medical facilities and boat maintenance, sailing travelers will find everything they could need. Also, the marina is a great place to enjoy nearby restaurants and shops.
Aquatic Park Mazagua
Another great place for fun is the Aquatic Park Mazagua. Great for families, the water park has watersides and plenty of swimming pools. Mazagua would be a great alternative to hanging out on the beach for a day. We definitely recommend this spot for a splash and swim! Check out the website here for Aquatic Park Mazagua.
Colorful Old Town
The Mazatlan old town was built in Spanish colonial style. Many of the buildings are unique and painted in vibrant colors. It’s a great place to take in the culture and cuisine of Mazatlan. Check it out for a true Mexican experience!
