Aquatic Park Mazagua

Another great place for fun is the Aquatic Park Mazagua. Great for families, the water park has watersides and plenty of swimming pools. Mazagua would be a great alternative to hanging out on the beach for a day. We definitely recommend this spot for a splash and swim! Check out the website here for Aquatic Park Mazagua.

Colorful Old Town

The old town was built in the Spanish colonial style with many unique buildings painted in vibrant colors. It’s a great place to take in the culture and cuisine of Mazatlán. It’s also the only port with a historical district in Northwest Mexico!

Best of all, you can reach the old town on the best-known symbol of Mazatlan, the Pulmonia. This typical open-air taxi is not found anywhere else in the world! So check it out for a true Mexican experience! Talking of once in a lifetime opportunities, take the chance to visit one of the highest Lighthouses in the world. Located at the peak of Cerro del Creston El Faro, there is no better view of the Pearl of the Pacific.

Mazatlán’s Mysterious Islands

One of the main attractions of Mazatlán is to visit the three islands: Isla de Pajaros, Isla de Venados e Isla de Lobos (The Isle of Birds, The Isle of Deer and The Isle of Wolves). You can get there via boat and, once there, will discover the beauty of these islands. From relaxing by the calm waters, eating delicious palapas, seeing ancient cave paintings, to practicing water sports. it’s a must-see!
