Creating the local Park Inn breakfast experience: Chef Damian Zaleuski

Introducing one of Park Inn by Radisson Copenhagen’s brightest stars, Chef Damian Zaleuski. His exuberant personality, and talent in the kitchen are unmistakable and admirable, and we simply can’t get enough of him, his jokes and his delicious food!

Having studied gastronomy for 6 years in Poland, it’s safe to say Chef Damian knows his way around the kitchen. His appreciation and passion for Danish cuisine and culture is evident in Park Inn by Radisson Copenhagen’s breakfast buffet, full of local produce and Danish flavor. We sat down for a talk with Chef Damian about Park Inn by Radisson breakfast and some behind the scenes low-downs. Here are five good reasons to swing by the Park Inn by Radisson Copenhagen Airport Hotel.

1. We’re a little bit country

It’s no secret that we eat with our eyes, and that presentation is part of the overall experience. Therefore, Chef Damian has focused on wooden elements on the buffet, as well as herbal decorations for that colorful, country look and feel. This presentation makes the food stand out and brings some Danish country charm to the bustling city. It’s the best of both worlds.

2. Your carrot on a stick

Park Inn by Radisson is known for adding color to life, and Chef Damian has taken it a step further by adding some color to the buffet. One of the colorful additions is the beautiful – and equally delicious – organic carrot juice. This colorful delight is something to add to your list of easy breakfast ideas. Delivered daily and freshly squeezed, these yummy juices hit just the spot and are healthy to boot. Even if you’re not a morning person, consider these your carrot on a stick – minus the stick.

3. When in Denmark, have a Danish

Let’s face it, you can’t come to Denmark and not have a Danish, and Chef Damian is in the know and delivers. He sources the best pastries from the renowned and local Trianon bakery in Copenhagen, so you can enjoy a truly authentic local breakfast sweet. This family establishment from the 1940s delivers daily delights, and have trained Damian and his staff in the delicate Danish art of sour dough bread baking.

4. Seasoning’s greetings

While part of the décor, the herbal spread is so much more. It’s the seasoning that makes your breakfast go from standard to outstanding, and which helps spice up your life and meal.

Cut cheese herbs

These multi-functional herbs add color to life and an extra touch to scrambled eggs or cheese. Also, a bit of mint in water can do wonders. Don’t be shy, pluck off a little green when trying out the local breakfast.
